Labor Day Weekend 2026 - Star Party Update

We have been watching the weather for this weekend and have decided to utilize our Sunday backup date for this weekend's Starway to Heaven star party, as it looks like Sunday evening will give us the best chance for clear skies.

This means we will NOT be holding a Star Party on Saturday, September 5th.

We are instead now planning to hold this weekend's Star Party on Sunday, September 6th!

We will publish a weather update with a final Go/No-Go decision on Sunday morning, so please check back here on Sunday for the final decision. If we do proceed with the Star Party on Sunday, we are planning to have the Bob Davidson telescope (an impressive 20" f/5 Obsession Dobsonian) on site for the event.
