WAA members receive the exclusive benefit of being about to observe at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation on non-star party nights.  In order to observe on a night of your own choosing, you must:
 

1. ​Provide WPRR at least 24 hours' notice that you plan to observe by calling the park office.  The phone number can be found on your membership card.

2. Carry your WAA membership card so that you can present it to the park ranger when asked.  All individuals observing in the park must have a current (non-expired) WAA membership card in their name.  Anyone without a membership card will be required to leave the park at dusk.

3. Observe only from the Meadow parking area.  All other areas of the park are off limits.

4. Follow the guidance provided on our Star Party Dos and Don'ts page to ensure you are not disruptive to other members who may choose to use the lot at the same time as you.

As a reminder, all of WAA's normally scheduled Starway to Heaven Star Parties at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation are free and are open to the public.  You do not need to be a member to attend a star party.  Please see our Star Parties page for a list of upcoming star party dates.
