SkyWAAtch, our monthly newsletter, is offered free to all of our members and the general public. It is considered by some to be the best newsletter of any independent astronomy club. SkyWAAtch won the 2025 Apex Communications Grand Award for Publication Excellence. Members receive an email when a new issue is published.

SkyWAAtch is always looking for contributions from members. Write an article or share your astrophotos, observing reports, astronomy-themed trips, equipment reviews or book reviews with fellow WAA’ers. The topic should of course be related to astronomy or space science. Email the materials to the Editor at waa-newsletter@westchesterastronomers.org as an attachment. Photos should be .JPEG files no larger than 8 MB. Written contributions should preferably be in Microsoft Word format although text files can be accepted.
